TELUS Goal of the month Contest

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

CONTEST PERIOD:

The “TELUS Goal of the Month” (TGOTM) (the “Contest”) begins on, May 4, 2026 at 12PM Eastern Time (ET) and ends on November 30th 2026 at 12AM Eastern Time (ET) with 6 Contests periods throughout.

The Contest is held by [Canadian Premier League](“CPL”) and TELUS.

April TGOTM - May 4, - 1pm eastern – May 8, 2026 – 12pm ET

May TGOTM - June 1, – 1pm Est - June 8, 2026 - 12pm ET

June TGOTM – June 29, -1pm – July 6, 2026 - 12pm ET

July TGOTM – August 3, 1pm – Aug 10, 2026 - 12pm ET

August TGTOM – August 31 , 6pm– Sept 7, 2026 - 6pm ET

Sept TGOTM – Oct 5, 1pm – Oct 12, 2026 - 12pm ET

Contest period dates are subject to change.

ELIGIBILITY, RESIDENCY AND AGE:

The Contest is only open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the time of entry. Employees, officers and directors, and the immediate family members and/or those with whom such employees, officers and directors are domiciled, of the Canadian Soccer Business,  TELUS, the Canadian Premier League, CPL member teams, prize suppliers, and advertising/promotion agencies and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates (collectively, “CPL Entities”) are not eligible to enter or win.  For the purpose of these Official Rules, “immediate family members” means parent, spouse, sibling or child and their respective spouses. The CPL reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the winner.

HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST:

No purchase necessary. Entry on https://www.cplsoccer.com/ website during each of the Contest Period, you can enter the Contest by (i) going to during the applicable entry period, (ii) or click on the Contest banners, social posts, buttons or links to access the online entry form for the Contest, (iii) complete the online entry form as instructed, including all required information, and (iv) submit your votes and completed online entry form as instructed during the applicable entry period.

PRIZES:

There is one (1) “Prize Bundle” available to be won each of the contest periods. The Prize bundle consists of one (1) Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (256 GB) telephone, a TELUS goat 7.5” Plushie and 1 piece of CPL team swag (at sponsor discretion) approx. $1899.

The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, assignable or convertible to cash, except as described in these Official Rules. No Prize substitutions are permitted, except that CPL reserves the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to substitute the Prize or a component thereof with a prize of equal or greater value, including, without limitation, but at CPL’ sole and absolute discretion, a cash award.  Any other incidental expenses on prizes not specified herein are the winner's sole responsibility. All winners are responsible for all applicable federal, provincial, territorial, or local taxes associated with winning a prize.

PRIZE DRAW:

A random draw for the Prize Bundle will take place on the dates outlined below in Toronto, Ontario from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period for that month. An entry selected will be eligible to win the one prize. The odds of winning the prize will depend on the total number of eligible entries received in each of the contest periods.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND SELECTION:

The selected entrant for the Prize will be contacted via email or by telephone, or by direct message on Instagram by a representative of the CPL Entities within 48 hrs of the draw date. 

Before being declared a Prize winner, the selected entrant will be required to correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question and will also be required to sign and return, a Declaration and Release Form (the “Release Form”) and any other documentation as may reasonably be required by CPL. 

If the selected entrant cannot be reached, fails to correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, fails to execute and return the Release Form within the required time period of (2) business days, is otherwise not in compliance with the Official Rules, or is unable or unwilling to comply with these Official Rules, the selected entrant will be deemed ineligible and will forfeit their Prize. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given, and CPL will have sole discretion to randomly select another potential winner. A new potential winner will then be selected from all remaining eligible entries in accordance with these Official Rules.

All entries and other documents allowing entry into the Contest are subject to verification by the CPL Entities. 

An entry must not contain (i) material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement; (ii) material that is inappropriate, offensive, indecent, obscene, tortious, defamatory, or libelous; or (iii) material that is unlawful, in violation of, or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where the entry is created or otherwise contains inappropriate content or objectionable material as determined by CPL in its sole discretion.

The CPL Entities reserve the right to disqualify a person or to cancel one or several entries of a person who enters or tries to enter this Contest by using methods that do not comply with these Official Rules.

All decisions of the CPL Entities with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including without limitation, the eligibility of entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this Contest.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BY ENTERING THE CONTEST, EACH ENTRANT AGREES TO INDEMNIFY, RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE CPL ENTITIES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, AFFILIATES, AND SUBSIDIARIES, ANY OTHER COMPANIES ASSOCIATED WITH THE DEVELOPMENT AND EXECUTION OF THE CONTEST, AND ALL OF THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, LICENSEES, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS (THE “RELEASEES”) FROM ANY LIABILITY, DAMAGES, LOSSES OR INJURY RESULTING IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM ENTRANT’S PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST AND THE ACCEPTANCE OF ANY PRIZE THAT MAY BE WON.  THE CPL ENTITIES DO NOT MAKE ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE CONDITION, FITNESS OR MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRIZE.

THE ABOVE INDEMNIFICATION AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IS NOT APPLICABLE TO QUEBEC

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE RELEASEES SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY AND WILL BE RELEASED AND HELD HARMLESS FROM ANY CLAIM, ACTION, LIABILITY, LOSS, INJURY OR DAMAGE, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH TO WINNER OR ANY THIRD PARTY OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL OR REAL PROPERTY DUE IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, BY ANY REASON, TO THE ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE OR MISUSE OF THE PRIZE AND/OR PARTICIPATION IN THIS CONTEST.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

The Releasees are not responsible for lost, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, garbled, stolen, or mutilated entries or Release Form.

Entrants in this Contest agree to be bound by these Official Rules and agree that the CPL Entities and their designees and assigns may use the entrant’s name, voice, city/province of residence, photos, video or film clips, and/or other visual likeness  for advertising and/or trade purposes and/or for any other purpose relating to the Contest in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation (financial or otherwise), permission or notification.

CPL Entities reserve the right to withdraw, amend or suspend this Contest or to amend these Official Rules, in any way, in the event of an error, technical problem, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the CPL Entities that interferes with the proper conduct of this Contest as contemplated by these Official Rules. Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, CPL Entities reserve the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. CPL Entities reserve the right to cancel, amend or suspend this Contest, or to amend these Official Rules, without prior notice or obligation, in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error or any kind, or for any other reason.

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest-related materials, including, but not limited to: the Contest entry form, the website, the App, point of sale, television, radio, print and/or online advertising; the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

If a section of these Official Rules is declared or deemed illegal, unenforceable or invalid by a competent court, that section shall be considered invalid, but all unaffected sections shall be applied within the limits of the law.

This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, territorial, and local laws and regulations.  

Social Media Platforms. This Contest is not in any way associated with, endorsed, administered, managed or sponsored by any social media platform. Any social media platform used by the entrant to enter the Contest and all affiliates, directors, officers, agents and employees of the social media platform are not liable for any claims arising out of or in connection with the organization of this Contest. However, by participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of use, contracts, other policies and/or guidelines governing the social media platform and releases such social media platforms from and against any damage that could arise from the use of this platform. 

Entrants who are Québec residents only: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Officials Rules or the rights and obligations of entrants or the CPL Parties in connection with this Contest will be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the Province of Québec and federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other laws. Void where prohibited by law. You acknowledge that you were provided with the French version of these Official Rules and that, after first having had the opportunity to examine the French version, you have expressly requested to be bound only by the English version of these Official Rules and that all documents related to these Official Rules be drawn up in English only.

PERSONAL INFORMATION PRIVACY:

By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the CPL Entities and their agent’s collection, use and disclosure of entry information for the purposes of administering this Contest, conducting internal analysis, and as otherwise set out in CPL’s privacy policy which is available at: https://canpl.ca/privacypolicy.  The personal information collected by the CPL Entities’ may be transferred to, stored in and used in countries other than Canada, and those other countries may not have laws protecting personal information equivalent to Canada.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

By entering this Contest, each entrant agrees to irrevocably assign and transfer all of their worldwide rights, title and interest in and to, and waive all moral rights in, the copyright and other intellectual property rights of their entire Contest entry. 

The CPL and individual CPL member team identifications are trademarks and copyrighted designs, and/or other forms of intellectual property of the Canadian Premier League. and the respective CPL member teams.
