Vancouver FC defender Kian Proctor has been named the Canadian Premier League's U-21 Player of the Month after a dominant run in July.
The 20-year-old full-back has now won this honour in back-to-back months, having flourished in his first professional season.
Proctor played every minute for Vancouver in July, helping them to a 4-0-1 record that vaulted them into third place.
Playing primarily at left-back, Proctor was a key cog in Vancouver's defence for clean sheets against both Inter Toronto and Cavalry FC.
The Delta, B.C. native came to Vancouver this past winter after impressing at the BCPL level with TSS Rovers. Since his debut in the Concacaf Champions Cup, he has developed into one of the club's most important players.
Proctor joins his coach Martin Nash among Vancouver's July award winners, both of them claiming back-to-back honours.
