Atlético Ottawa's Chris Kalongo has been named the Canadian Premier League's Allstate Goalkeeper of the Month for July 2026.
The 24-year-old started all five of Atleti's league matches in the past month, as they posted a 2-1-2 record. Kalongo made 13 saves for Ottawa across those five games, tied for the most in the league in July.
He has adjusted to life at TD Place remarkably quickly, having signed for the club in May. He made his debut in mid-June and has started every game since.
The Oakville, Ont. native previously spent five years in the Forge FC organization before moving to Toronto FC II earlier this year. He returned to the CPL shortly after and has become the trusted starter for Atlético Ottawa.
Kalongo is the first Canadian-born keeper to earn this nod in 2026, but not the first from an Ontario club after Forge's Dimitry Bertaud won it twice, and Inter Toronto's Diego Urtiaga claimed one.
