How to watch CPL action, and what to watch for, this matchweek.

After picking up a stunning stoppage-time victory in their inaugural match, FC Supra du Québec again highlight an outstanding slate of CPL matches in Matchweek 3.

This weekend also sees one of the CPL's fiercest rivalries re-ignited, the Halifax Wanderers' home opener and Martin Nash return to his old turf at York Lions Stadium.

Here are all the key details ahead of this weekend:

Saturday, April 18 - Halifax Wanderers vs. Pacific FC

1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT — Wanderers Grounds — OneSoccer
Tickets available here.

The weekend kicks off with a celebration on the East Coast as the Halifax Wanderers return to the Wanderers Grounds for the first time this season.

They do so undefeated, with a strong four points from their first two road games, and a promising start to the Vanni Sartini era.

Pacific FC head on the road for the first time this season after dropping back-to-back home games. They won just once away from home last season in 14 matches — an area that needs improvement in 2026.

Saturday, April 18 - Forge FC vs. Cavalry FC

4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT — Hamilton Stadium — OneSoccer, TSN
Tickets available here.

One of the CPL's fiercest rivalries returns this weekend as Forge FC host Cavalry at Hamilton Stadium.

Both are unbeaten to begin the 2026 season, with Cavalry comprehensively defeating Atlético Ottawa this past weekend, and Forge stealing three points late in Langley.

Now they put those perfect records on the line, facing each other for an incredible 38th time.

For the first time, however, it will be Cavalry's Harry Paton against Forge's Ben Paton, as the brothers, both of whom have had strong starts to the CPL seasons, go head-to-head.

Sunday, April 19 - FC Supra du Québec vs. Atlético Ottawa

2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT — CEPSUM Stadium — OneSoccer, CBC Gem, RDS.ca
Tickets available here.

Sunday will be a special day for soccer in the province of Québec as FC Supra play the first home match in club history at CEPSUM Stadium.

They come into the weekend still riding the high of a historic first victory, with Alexandre Marcoux's stoppage-time winner handing them a 3-2 victory over Pacific at Starlight Stadium.

Make no mistake, though, the defending Champs will be desperate to spoil the party. Winless through their first two matches of the season, they will make a heavy push for three points before their home opener on Sunday, April 26.

Sunday, April 19 - Inter Toronto vs. Vancouver FC

5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT — York Lions Stadium — OneSoccer
Tickets available here.

The CPL weekend concludes in Toronto, where Inter Toronto host Vancouver FC at York Lions Stadium -- both looking for their first victory of the season.

Vancouver have not won at York Lions Stadium since their inaugural victory in club history back on April 22, 2023.

This will also be the first time that former Inter Toronto head coach Martin Nash returns to his former stomping grounds since taking over as the Eagles' manager.

Player to Watch:

David Choinière, FC Supra du Québec

Supra's first signing and their captain, the 29-year-old attacker from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is a four-time CPL champion, and one of the biggest stars in the league's history. He played a great ball that led to Supra's stoppage-time winner in their inaugural match this past weekend, and will be looked at as a key leader again in their home opener on Sunday against Atlético Ottawa. Choinière has earned the nickname 'Big Game Dave' for his ability to show up when the lights are the brightest, and that will certainly be the case at CEPSUM Stadium on Sunday.
