Despite a draw that will feel like a loss for Pacific FC, Saturday at Starlight Stadium delivered a milestone moment for Tridents' attacker Ronan Kratt.
The 22-year-old's outstanding touch to take down Josh Heard's deflected free kick, and then calm finish opened the scoring against Atlético Ottawa.
It was his first goal in over a year, since May 3, 2025, as a 3-1 loss for Pacific against, as fate would have it, Atlético Ottawa. Three days later, Kratt suffered an ACL injury, which kept him out for the rest of that season.
Kratt followed up his goal with a well-worked assist on Pacific's second goal of the match in a 2-2 draw, a performance that earned him the CPL's Maple Lodge Player of the Month for Matchweek 8.
The 22-year-old attacker also had three shots, all of which were on target, created a pair of chances, and had two completed dribbles.
Kratt and Pacific look to build on a strong performance, despite the result, as they head to Québec City on Saturday for a meeting with FC Supra du Québec (7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT) on OneSoccer, TSN & RDS Direct.
