The last time Cavalry FC lost a CPL match at ATCO Field, it was July 26, 2025, just over a year ago.
In fact, that was the last time Cavalry FC even trailed in a Canadian Premier League match at home.
On Saturday evening, the last team that dealt them defeat at Spruce Meadows, Inter Toronto, comes to town.
Victories have been elusive for Inter Toronto of late, however. They look to end a seven-game winless streak on Saturday, which has seen them drop to seventh in the table, seven points out of the fourth and final playoff position.
They fell 3-1 to Forge FC at home this past weekend and have now scored just seven times in their past nine matches, and haven't scored more than once in a match since May 1.
Cavalry, meanwhile, added three more points at home on Tuesday in dramatic fashion with Amer Didić's stoppage-time header handing them a 2-1 victory over FC Supra du Québec.
The match saw 21-year-old goalkeeper Joseph Holliday make his club debut with Nathan Ingham out of the lineup, performing brilliantly, making six saves many of which were gamesaving for the Cavs.
They head into the weekend still looking to keep pace with league leaders Forge FC, who have a four-point cushion on them as well as a game in hand.
The last meeting between these two sides was incredibly one-sided, with Cavalry winning 5-1 at York Lions Stadium on June 10.
But Inter Toronto have always come to play at ATCO Field, winning there each of the past two seasons, and picking up a 1-1 draw in their first trip to Calgary in 2026 back on April 25.
Can they create another monumental moment in Calgary, or can the Cavs continue to pick up vital points at ATCO Field?

- Both Harry Paton and Eryk Kobza are available again for Cavalry FC after missing midweek action through suspension. The latter, however, is one yellow card away from receiving another suspension due to accumulation.
