The 2026 CPL season nears its halfway point this weekend with two double-header matchdays.
Friday sees a budding east coast rivalry resume as FC Supra travel to Halifax for the first time, while on Sunday, it's the 32nd edition of the 905 derby at York Lions Stadium.

Friday, July 24 - Halifax Wanderers vs. FC Supra du Québec

After a solid west coast road trip, picking up a big four points in the process, the Halifax Wanderers return home to host FC Supra du Québec.
It is a return to the Wanderers Grounds for Sean Rea, who has been one of the league's top players this season since joining Supra from Halifax.
Rea and Supra look to rebound from their worst-ever result, a 5-1 loss to Vancouver FC this past Friday.
Supra are searching for their first road victory since their inaugural match as a club.
Friday, July 24 - Vancouver FC vs. Cavalry FC

The league's hottest team, Vancouver FC, host second place Cavalry on Friday night at the Langley Events Centre.
The Eagles have won four of their past five league matches, and have scored 15 goals in that span, including a club-record 5-0 win over FC Supra du Québec in Laval in their most recent outing.
Having lost 2-0 to Cavalry FC in Langley back on May 17, however, they are still searching for their first three points against the Calgary club.
Cavalry, meanwhile, have scored nine goals in their past three, and a league-leading 23 this season. Friday night promises fireworks under the lights in Langley.
Sunday, July 26 - Atlético Ottawa vs. Pacific FC

The Canadian Premier League's two newest coaches go head-to-head in the nation's capital on Sunday.
Gustavo Leal made his debut on the touchline for Atlético Ottawa last Friday in a 1-1 draw with Inter Toronto, while Pacific's Terry Dunfield is still waiting to do the same after his side's Thursday match in Hamilton was postponed.
The last meeting between these two sides, on May 30, was a dramatic affair with Atleti coming from behind to draw 2-2 on a late Ballou Tabla penalty.
Tabla added his sixth of the season against Inter Toronto, tied for the league lead, and has scored in three of his past four meetings with Pacific.

The matchweek concludes with a bang as Inter Toronto host Forge FC in the second 905 derby of the season.
Forge were dominant winners in the first meeting, a 4-1 result back on June 7, also at York Lions Stadium.
The Hamilton club seeks to tie a club record with a sixth straight victory in the league on Sunday.
Inter Toronto, meanwhile, are desperate to end two losing streaks. After a 1-1 draw with Atlético Ottawa this past weekend, they are now winless in six matches. That winless streak doubles against rivals Forge, as they have not won in their past 12 against the Hamilton club.
