Goalkeeper

Dimitry Bertaud (Forge FC)

The Forge goalkeeper picked up his second clean sheet of the season already, making three saves in a 1-0 victory over Vancouver FC. That included a stunning breakaway stop on Mohamed Amissi in the first half.

Defenders

Rezart Rama (Forge FC)

Rama was excellent down the right flank for Forge on Sunday. He created three chances, while also winning a trio of tackles and interceptions. 

Daan Klomp (Cavalry FC)

Klomp's towering header opened the scoring for Cavalry on Sunday in their 3-1 home opener victory over Atlético Ottawa. He also completed 45 of 48 passes during a dominant Cavalry display. 

Kareem Sow (Halifax Wanderers)

Sow was on hand in the box to tap home Halifax's first goal on Saturday. He completed 52 of 60 passes, and won three of four duels during a strong overall outing. 

Diyaeddine Abzi (FC Supra du Québec)

In his return to the CPL, Abzi showed why he has been one of the best full-backs in its history. The 27-year-old won possession nine times, and made five interceptions during Saturday's historic win for FC Supra du Québec. 

Midfielders

Marco Bustos (Pacific FC)

Bustos scored a lovely goal to open his account for the season on a curling strike into the top corner. He was the Tridents' most dangerous player on Saturday, creating two chances, completing a pair of dribbles, and winning 8 of 11 duels. 

Harry Paton (Cavalry FC)

Paton is quickly becoming a star in the midfield for Cavalry as he scored for a second consecutive week. He also created three chances, and won seven of nine duels.

Sergio Camargo (Cavalry FC)

The Cavalry captain was all around the action in his side's 3-1 win over Atlético Ottawa. He assisted on Paton's goal, had three shot attempts and made three interceptions, including winning possession twice in the final third. 

Sean Rea (FC Supra du Québec)

Expected to be a key player for FC Supra this season, Rea is off to a strong start. He scored the club's second-ever goal, created two chances and completed four dribbles during a strong attacking display. He also won seven of ten duels.

Forwards

Loïc Kwemi (FC Supra du Québec)

Kwemi got himself on the scoresheet and into the history books when he scored FC Supra du Québec's first-ever goal in their 3-2 win over Pacific FC on Saturday.

Julian Altobelli (Inter Toronto)

For a second consecutive year, Julian Altobelli scored a brace in Inter Toronto's season opener, this time a 2-2 draw with the Halifax Wanderers on Saturday.
