All on-field disciplinary matters for the Canadian Premier League (CPL) are overseen by Canada Soccer, pursuant to its Disciplinary Code and Professional Soccer Club Disciplinary Annex. 

The following players and coaches are facing suspension, which have been determined and issued by Canada Soccer, following the ninth week of play in the 2026 CPL Regular Season: 

  • Gabriel Antinoro, Atlético Ottawa

Reason for suspension: Red Card - Foul and Abusive Language

Sanction: One-match suspension (June 9 vs. FC Supra du Québec)

Details: Antinoro was initially suspended for two (2) matches after he was issued a red card for Foul and Abusive Language directed at a Match Official in the 90+7th minute of Atlético Ottawa's June 5, 2026 match at Vancouver FC. Following a successful appeal by the club, the sanction was reduced to a one-match suspension, which will be served on June 9 vs. FC Supra du Québec.

  • Diyaeddine Abzi, FC Supra du Québec

Reason for suspension: Yellow Card Accumulation

Sanction: One-match suspension (June 9 at Atlético Ottawa)

In addition, the following players are now one caution away from a one-match suspension for yellow card accumulation:

  • Marcus Godinho, Halifax Wanderers FC

  • Marcello Polisio, Vancouver FC

  • Anthony Aromatario, Forge FC

  • Manuel Aparicio, Atlético Ottawa

  • Eryk Kobza, Cavalry FC

  • Adam Pearlman, Cavalry FC

  • Christian Greco-Taylor, Pacific FC
