All on-field disciplinary matters for the Canadian Premier League (CPL) are overseen by Canada Soccer, pursuant to its Disciplinary Code and Professional Soccer Club Disciplinary Annex. 

The following players and coaches are facing suspension, which have been determined and issued by Canada Soccer, following the fifth week of play in the 2026 CPL Regular Season: 

Diego Mejia, Atlético Ottawa

  • Reason for suspension: Yellow Card Accumulation
  • Sanction: One-match suspension (May 17 vs. Halifax Wanderers FC)

Alessandro Biello, FC Supra du Québec

  • Reason for suspension: Red Card - Foul and Abusive Language
  • Sanction: Two-match suspension (May 13 at Forge FC; May 23 at Vancouver FC)
