The Inter Toronto goalkeeper's heroics were key to his club's win at Starlight Stadium

In the 21st minute on Sunday at Starlight Stadium, Pacific FC thought they had their breakthrough.

After an FVS challenge, the Tridents were awarded a penalty, and Alejandro Díaz, the league's all-time leading goalscorer, who had never missed in nine previous attempts, stepped up to the spot.

Inter Toronto's Diego Urtiaga, however, had other ideas. Diving to his right, he reached out his hand and denied Díaz's attempt. It was one of the outstanding five saves he made in a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory over Pacific FC.

The performance earned him Matchweek 6's Maple Lodge Farms Player of the Week.

Through six weeks of CPL action, Urtiaga leads the league in saves made with 21. This was his second clean sheet of the season.

It is the second consecutive matchweek that an Inter Toronto player won the Player of the Week award, as Tomasz Skubluk took the honours in Matchweek 5.
