Cavalry FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) today announced it has signed Canadian defenders Daniel Pribytov and Kacper Plocinski to Development Contracts for the 2026 season.
Pribytov, 17, and Plocinski, 16, join the club’s 2026 roster, following their time with Cavalry FC II in the Alberta Premier League (APL).
Pribytov is a defender who played for CMSA side Calgary Foothills prior to joining Cavalry’s pathway in 2025. Most recently, Pribytov has developed within the Cavalry FC Academy since 2025, playing under head coach Francesco Bartolillo. He featured in every minute for Cavalry FC II throughout the 2026 APL season, and was named Defensive Player of the Year during the club’s end of season awards.
Plocinski is a defender who played for CMSA side Calgary Foothills prior to joining Cavalry’s pathway in 2025. Most recently, he has also developed within the Cavalry FC Academy since 2025, playing under head coach Francesco Bartolillo. He was named as Most Valuable Player by his teammates and staff during the club’s end of season awards. In August 2026, Plocinski was called up to the U16 Canadian Men’s National Team camp in Chile.

Pribytov and Plocinski are eligible to make four appearances for Cavalry under a Development Contract, while maintaining their amateur status and the ability to train with the amateur team that holds his registration. Pribytov and Plocinski are eligible to sign two development contracts in a single CPL season.
