Cavalry FC is proud to announce that Academy players Rowen Egharevba and Kacper Plocinski have been selected to represent Canada at the upcoming Youth National Team camps in Chile this August.
Egharevba has earned selection to the Canada Men's U-15 National Team, while Plocinski has been named to the Canada Men's U-16 National Team. Both players will travel to Chile for international training camps and a pair of matches against the host nation.
The call-ups mark Cavalry FC's second and third Canada Youth National Team selections of 2026, following James McGlinchey's inclusion with the Canada Men's U-20 National Team earlier this year.
The latest selections are another significant milestone for the club's player development pathway and a reflection of the work being done throughout the Academy and Cavalry FC II. With opportunities to train and compete in a professional environment, young players continue to progress through the club's pathway and onto the national stage.
Assistant Coach and Technical Director Jay Wheeldon credited the achievement to the commitment shown by the players and the collective efforts of the Academy staff.
