The Pacific attacker played a key role in their first win of the season

At long last, it was three points for Pacific FC on Sunday at Starlight Stadium as they came from behind to beat the Halifax Wanderers 4-3.

A key catalyst in that victory was the attacking play of Yann Toualy. In the 34th minute, Toualy laid the ball off brilliantly for Taras Gomulka to strike home Pacific's opener.

Then early in the second half, he dribbled through the Halifax defence before directing the ball into the path of Kadin Chung for the Tridents' second.

Toualy's performance earned him the CPL's Maple Lodge Player of the Week award for Matchweek 19.

He also had 15 touches in the Halifax box, completed five of six dribbles and won six of 10 duels.

Toualy is the second Pacific player to take home the Player of the Week award this season after Ronan Kratt earned the honour in Matchweek 8.

Pacific FC look to build on the result as they head to the nation's capital on Saturday, September 5 ( 1 p.m. PT / 4 p.m. ET) to take on Atlético Ottawa.
