How to watch CPL action, and what to watch for, this matchweek.

The CPL is back in action starting this Friday with a full slate of Matchweek 11 clashes stretching through Canada Day Wednesday.

With all eight teams refreshed and well rested, it will be an opportunity for a bit of a fresh start for some, while others look to pick up where they left off before the break.

Here are all the key details:

Friday, June 26 - Halifax Wanderers vs. Pacific FC

5:30 p.m. ET / 2:30 p.m. PT — Wanderers Grounds — OneSoccer, CBC Gem
Tickets available here.

The CPL returns to action on Friday with a coastal clash hosted in Halifax.

It's a meeting between two clubs desperate to change their fortunes after what could be a revitalizing break in their season -- sitting seventh and eighth in the table.

In their final match under interim head coach Yiannis Tsalatsidis before Terry Dunfield takes over on July 5, Pacific are still searching for their first win of the campaign. They are trying to avoid tying an unenviable record for worst start to a season with 2022 FC Edmonton — who also did not win in their first 11 matches.

The Wanderers lost their last two, but did pick up three points the last time they were at the Wanderers Grounds. A win would be a huge momentum builder for both.

Sunday, June 28 - Cavalry FC vs. FC Supra du Québec

7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT — ATCO Field — OneSoccer, TVAS2
Tickets available here.

On Sunday, FC Supra du Québec travel to one of the league's most difficult away venues, ATCO Field for the first time.

Facing the mighty Cavalry FC, there will be some bad blood from their last meeting, at Stade Boréale on May 3, when the Cavs won late, 1-0, on a Tobias Warschewski penalty.

The matchup pits Warschewski against another shining star this season in the CPL, Sean Rea. The pair are tied for the most goal contributions in the league this season, with seven each.

Warschewski leads the Golden Boot race with five goals, and has two assists. Rea has four goals to go with three assists, the latter of which is tied for the league lead.

Wednesday, July 1 - Forge FC vs. Vancouver FC

1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. ET  — Hamilton Stadium — OneSoccer
Tickets available here.

A Canada Day double-header begins in Hamilton on Wednesday afternoon, where Forge FC host Vancouver FC.

Top of the table through 10 matchweeks, Forge still have not conceded a goal at home yet in 2026 — an incredible defensive run that has built the base for a tremendous start to the season. Forge are unbeaten in eight straight against the Eagles as well, winning six of those matches.

But Vancouver are finding their stride, winning back-to-back matches before the break to push them up to within one point of the playoff line. A win over Forge, especially in Hamilton, would send a message to the rest of the league that they are truly for real.

Wednesday, July 1 - Halifax Wanderers vs. Atlético Ottawa

4 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT - Wanderers Grounds — OneSoccer
Tickets available here.

The matchweek starts and ends in Halifax, with the Wanderers also hosting Atlético Ottawa on Canada Day.

With two home matches in six days, it is an incredible opportunity for Halifax to get themselves back in the race. With a number of newcomers, and a new system under Vanni Sartini, the past few weeks have been an important chance for the club to recalibrate and learn from the first part of the season.

Atleti, meanwhile, are looking to improve significantly on the road. They are 1-1-4 away from home, a big reason for the 11-point gap which has already opened up between Atleti and first-place Forge.

Player to Watch:

Sean Rea, FC Supra du Québec

It has been an impressive start to the season for newcomers FC Supra du Québec, and at the centre of that success has been 24-year-old midfielder Sean Rea. The Montréal native has four goals, is tied for the league lead in assists with three and chances created with 21. If Supra want to stay in the playoff hunt, Rea will be a vital piece, and he will be called upon again to step up on Sunday in Calgary.
