On Tuesday night in the nation's capital, the fourth semifinalist in the 2026 TELUS Canadian Championship will be decided (7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT, OneSoccer).
Atlético Ottawa host FC Supra du Québec at TD Place in the second leg of their quarterfinal tie, trailing 3-1 on aggregate.
The winner of the series advances to take on fellow Canadian Premier League side Forge FC in the two-legged semifinal in September.
In July 8's first leg at Stade Boréale, FC Supra took a three-goal lead through goals from David Choinière, Sean Rea and Ibrahim Condé before Wes Timoteo scored a lovely late free-kick to get Atlético Ottawa on the board.
Away goals are not in effect in this year's competition, meaning that any two-goal win for Atlético Ottawa would send the match into extra-time. Should two fifteen-minute halves of extra-time solve nothing, then the series will be decided by penalties.
Win by more than two goals, and Atlético Ottawa are off to the semifinals for a second consecutive year. An Ottawa win, draw or loss by a single goal would see Supra advance to the final four in their first-ever Canadian Championship tournament.
Atleti have won both league meetings between the two clubs, including a dramatic 5-3 comeback victory at TD Place on June 9. The hosts will be hoping for similar theatrics on Tuesday.
The tournament's other semifinal, which will also be contested in September, features the four-time defending champions Vancouver Whitecaps against CF Montréal.
The winner of that series will host the 2026 Canadian Championship final on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
