Pacific FC has added another proven Canadian Premier League goalscorer to its attacking group, signing forward Shaan Hundal on loan from Brooklyn FC of the USL Championship.
A Brampton, Ontario native and product of the Toronto FC Academy, Hundal brings a track record of finding the back of the net and extensive experience in the Canadian Premier League.
The 27-year-old began his professional career with Toronto FC II, making 84 league appearances between 2016 and 2019 scoring 17 goals. During his time with Toronto FC II, Hundal earned selection to the USL’s 20 Under 20 list twice.
He continued his development in the United States with Fort Lauderdale CF, scoring 17 goals across two seasons. The club was later rebranded as Inter Miami CF II, where Hundal led the team in scoring in 2021 while earning USL League One All-League Second Team honours and finishing as a finalist for the league’s Young Player of the Year award.
In July 2022, Hundal made his Major League Soccer debut after joining Inter MIami CF on a short-term loan.
But it was in the CPL where Hundal established himself as one of the league’s familiar attacking threats.
Since returning to Canada, the left-footed forward has scored 20 CPL goals across stints with four different clubs. He scored six goals in 28 appearances for Vancouver FC in 2023 before adding nine goals across 35 league appearances with Valour FC over the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
Hundal finished the 2025 campaign with Inter Toronto FC, scoring five times in 14 league appearances.
His 2025 season also featured one of the most memorable individual scoring performances in CPL history. In August, Hundal scored four goals in a single match, becoming just the second player in league history to accomplish the feat.
Now, Hundal returns to the CPL with Pacific FC, bringing with him familiarity with the league that should allow him to settle in quickly.
For Pacific, his arrival adds another proven goalscorer to the attack, one who knows what it takes to find success in the CPL and has consistently demonstrated an ability to put the ball in the net.
The Brampton native now brings that experience to Vancouver Island, ready for the next chapter of his professional career with the Tridents.
