October saw the greatest turnaround in CPL history.
During the final month of the regular season, FC Supra du Québec came from eight points out of the fourth and final playoff position to pass Vancouver FC on the final day of the campaign.
Leading the way, as he has all season for the CPL's newest club, was Loïc Kwemi. The striker began the month by scoring in a 5-0 demolition of Pacific FC.
His most important performance came in a crucial match at York Lions Stadium, where his brace earned Supra a 2-1 victory and Kwemi the CPL's Maple Lodge Player of the Week for Matchweek 25.
Kwemi then scored against Vancouver FC and picked up assists in the final two matches of the season, against Inter Toronto and the Halifax Wanderers. Supra finished the month 4-1-0.
With four goals and two assists in those five matches, Kwemi earned the Canadian Premier League's October Player of the Month.
Kwemi's outstanding month also saw him officially awarded the league's Golden Boot award for the 2026 season. The league-leading 15 goals he scored during the campaign were the second most a player has ever managed in a CPL season.
During October, he also led the league in touches in the box with 45, completed a league-high 16 dribbles and chances created, with 12.
Kwemi was the second FC Supra du Québec player to be given the honour this season, joining Sean Rea, who was the CPL Player of the Month in April.
