TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club confirms that winger Isaac Tewolde will join Inter Toronto III as part of the club’s Pathway structure for the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.

Born in Canada, Tewolde is a dynamic attacking player of Ethiopian and Eritrean nationality who primarily operates as a winger, while also being capable of playing centrally in attacking roles. The 16-year-old joins the club after previously developing with BTB Soccer Academy and arriving through the club’s trial process.

Known for his one-versus-one ability and finishing, Tewolde describes creativity in attack and his defensive work rate as key elements that separate him from other players in his position.

Tewolde also highlighted the impact the club environment has already had on his development since joining the Pathway.

“There is a clear pathway here at Inter Toronto,” he said. “The club has helped my development drastically, and my goal this season is to begin training with the First Team and hopefully make my debut in the CPL one day.”

As part of Inter Toronto III, Tewolde will continue his development within the club’s professional pathway while working toward opportunities at higher levels of the organization.
