TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club confirms that Eldar Khasmamedov will join Inter Toronto IV as part of the club’s Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.
Born in Moscow, Russia, the 16-year-old midfielder operates primarily in central areas, bringing a playmaking profile defined by passing range, vision, and composure on the ball. A left-footed player who also holds Azerbaijani nationality, Khasmamedov adds creativity and control in midfield, with the ability to influence tempo and contribute from distance.
His game is built on decision-making and awareness, consistently looking to create opportunities through progressive passing and intelligent positioning. He combines technical quality with a willingness to take responsibility in possession, helping drive attacking sequences from deeper areas.
Khasmamedov’s development includes experience with Nitros, North York Academy, Woodbridge Strikers SC, and Power Soccer, before continuing his progression within the Inter Toronto environment. Having already been part of the club, he brings familiarity with its structure, expectations, and style of play.
Internationally, he has represented Canada at the futsal level, adding another layer of experience that supports his technical development and ability in tight spaces.
“Inter Toronto has helped me in my development, particularly with intensity. The sessions are very demanding, and the club has helped me learn how to deal with that intensity and pressure,” said Khasmamedov.
Within the Pathway, his growth has been shaped by a competitive training environment that emphasizes discipline, decision-making, and consistency, supporting his evolution as a midfielder capable of impacting the game in multiple ways.
As he prepares for the 2026 season with Inter Toronto IV, Khasmamedov will look to continue building on that foundation and take further steps within the club’s development structure.
