TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club confirms that Brunei Morgan will join Inter Toronto IV as part of the club’s Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, the 17-year-old defender, who also holds Jamaican and Chinese nationality, brings an aggressive and composed defensive profile to the squad, with the ability to win duels consistently while remaining comfortable in possession. Primarily operating as a centre-back, Morgan can also contribute as a right-back across the defensive line.

Morgan joins Inter Toronto after previous development experiences with North Side United, where he spent multiple years developing his game and competing in high-level environments, including helping his former team win the Spain MAD Cup tournament.

Recognized for his physicality, confidence on the ball, and defensive mentality, Morgan stands out through his ability to recover possession aggressively while maintaining composure in build-up phases. His profile adds defensive balance and intensity to the Inter Toronto IV back line.

His pathway to the club began after participating in Inter Toronto’s trial process, where the coaching staff identified his defensive qualities and overall fit within the club’s development environment.

Morgan’s development journey has also included adversity, recently overcoming a significant ankle ligament injury through recovery work, physiotherapy, and consistency during rehabilitation.

As he begins the 2026 Ontario Premier League season with Inter Toronto IV, Morgan will look to continue progressing within the club’s Pathway while adapting to a new environment away from home and building toward higher levels within the game.
