On Friday, Inter Toronto announced the departure of head coach Mauro Eustáquio.
Eustáquio, 33, served as the club's head coach for the past two seasons, sporting a record of 18-17-25.
This past season, Inter Toronto finished in sixth place with just 30 points, the fewest in club history.
They did make the playoffs in Eustáquio's first season in charge, securing a victory on penalties over the Halifax Wanderers in the opening round.
Eustáquio was the first CPL player in league history to become a head coach in the league, after spending the 2019 season with Cavalry FC.
Prior to becoming head coach ahead of the 2025 season, he served as an assistant with Inter Toronto under Martin Nash and then Benjamín Mora for three seasons.
Inter Toronto are yet to announce who will be replacing Eustáquio as the club's head coach.
