TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club confirms that Eyimofe Jemerigbe will join Inter Toronto II as part of the club’s Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.

Born in Nigeria, the 20-year-old centre-back, who also holds Canadian nationality, brings an athletic and physically dominant defensive profile to the squad, with the ability to defend large spaces, recover quickly, and contribute within a higher defensive line. Standing at 6’2”, Jemerigbe combines recovery speed, anticipation, and defensive range with a composed presence in possession.

Before arriving at Inter Toronto, Jemerigbe developed across multiple environments internationally, including time with Dynaspro Football Academy, Juventus Academy Nigeria, Spanish side CF Fuenlabrada, and ProStars FC. His pathway reflects a development journey shaped by adaptation, resilience, and exposure to different football cultures and training standards.

Comfortable stepping forward to intercept, winning duels, and controlling defensive situations early, Jemerigbe’s style is built around positioning, movement efficiency, and defensive awareness. Alongside his athletic profile, he places strong emphasis on self-development, focusing on technical details, body control, and improving consistently beyond natural ability.

“Representing Inter Toronto means being accountable every day, both on and off the field,” said Jemerigbe. “It’s about bringing consistency, professionalism, and a strong work ethic to training and matches while continuing to push myself to improve every day.”

Since joining the club, Jemerigbe has continued developing within a competitive and structured environment designed to prepare players for higher levels of the game. His progression has been supported through exposure to demanding training standards and opportunities to continue refining both the physical and tactical aspects of his game.

As he enters the 2026 Ontario Premier League season with Inter Toronto II, Jemerigbe will look to continue building consistency, remain available throughout the season, and continue progressing toward his long-term objective of playing professionally in Europe.
