Keeping a clean sheet against the league leaders, Irving made seven saves, including a spectacular diving stop on Ismael Oketokoun to keep his side in front for a big 1-0 victory in Hamilton.
Defenders
Roni Mbomio (Atlético Ottawa)
Mbomio put in a strong performance at the back on Saturday for Atleti. He won possession six times and completed 81 of 86 passes during a tidy performance.
Tom Field (Vancouver FC)
Field was excellent as his side kept a clean sheet in Hamilton, making some key defensive interventions. Winning three tackles, making three interceptions and a brilliant 12 clearances.
Luke Singh (Inter Toronto)
Singh's goal earned Inter Toronto a point at Starlight Stadium. He also won two tackles, made two interceptions and three clearances in a solid defensive performance.
Thomas Lebeuf (FC Supra du Québec)
The young full-back put in a quality shift for Supra against Cavalry on Saturday, winning five of eight duels, including both in the air, and creating a chance on five touches in the Cavalry box.
Midfielders
Damiano Pecile (Vancouver FC)
Pecile has been a fixture in the Gatorade Team of the Week of late and earned another spot for his goal and strong performance against Forge FC in Hamilton on Friday.
Safwane Mlah (FC Supra du Québec)
Mlah was dominant in midfield against Cavalry, completing 71 of 73 passes, winning eight of 13 duels and completing three of four dribbles. He also assisted on Supra's goal.
Tim Arnaud (Atlético Ottawa)
The young midfielder is showing his quality in recent weeks for Atleti, and assisted on their opening goal against Halifax on Saturday. He also completed 37 of 40 passes and won all four of his duels.
Forwards
Yann Toualy (Pacific FC)
Toualy was everywhere in attack against Inter Toronto on Saturday, scoring Pacific's lone goal. He had seven shot attempts, seven touches in the box and completed four of five dribbles as the catalyst going forward for the Tridents.
Emiliano García (Atlético Ottawa)
García was on the spot to head home Atleti's first goal against Halifax on Saturday. He had three shot attempts, 10 touches in the box and won all six of his duels.
Thierno Bah (Vancouver FC)
A strong attacking performance saw Bah assist Pecile's winner with a great run and pass. He created three chances, and contested 13 duels.
