The DR Congo international was brilliant in his first month in the CPL

Forge FC's Dimitry Bertaud has been named the CPL's Allstate Goalkeeper of the Month for April 2026.

In his first month in the league, the 27-year-old set a Forge FC record by keeping four consecutive clean sheets, against Atlético Ottawa, Vancouver FC, Cavalry FC and Pacific.

His standout performance came in a 1-0 victory in Langley, where he made three saves, including an incredible one on a Mohamed Amissi breakaway, and earned a spot in the league's Team of the Week for Matchweek 2.

The commanding keeper also showed outstanding distribution of the ball during the month, completing 70.2 per cent of his goalkicks, and was dominant when claiming crosses in his box.
