The hammers once again sit top of the table after the opening month
Forge FC's Bobby Smyrniotis has been named the Canadian Premier League's Manager of the Month for April 2026.
The reigning CPL Coach of the Year led his side to an unbeaten opening month of the season, with wins over defending champs Atlético Ottawa, Vancouver FC and Pacific, as well as a draw with rivals Cavalry.
They did not allow a single goal during the month, and just three shots on target.
This is the fourth straight season that Forge have gone undefeated during the league's opening month, and the most points they have ever collected in April.
The Hamilton club currently sit in first place in the CPL, after posting a 3-1-0 record in the month of April.
