Forge FC attacker Aghilas Sadek has been named the Canadian Premier League's U-21 Player of the Month for August 2026.
The 18-year-old is coming off a dream month, where he scored his first professional goal on a stunning strike for the match-winner against FC Supra du Québec.
Later that week, he added another well-taken goal in a 2-0 win over Pacific FC. He also started four of Forge's six matches, making up an incredibly young attacking unit with 21-year-old Hoce Massunda and 20-year-old Ismael Oketokoun.
During the month, Sadek also won 24 duels, created five chances and attempted 13 dribbles.
A Canadian youth international, Sadek represented Canada at the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup, picking up an assist in the country's first win in that tournament's history, 2-1 over Uganda.
Prior to Sadek winning this month's award, Vancouver FC's Kian Proctor was the recipient for the past two months.
