Forge FC announced Thursday that the club has signed Haiti men's national team midfielder Olivier Woodensky Pierre to a multi-year contract.
Pierre, 21, joins Forge after earning a place in Haiti’s squad at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, becoming the only player from the country’s domestic league to be selected to the roster. The nod came two months after his first senior call-up and international debut against Iceland, which both came in March 2026.
He represented Haiti alongside former Forge defender Garven Metusala, who was also called into the country’s World Cup squad.
“Olivier is a young talent with a big future, and we’re excited to bring him into our environment,” said Bobby Smyrniotis, Head Coach & Sporting Director, Forge FC. “To earn a World Cup call-up from the domestic league speaks to his quality, and we look forward to helping him continue to develop.”
Pierre’s club career to date has been spent entirely in the Ligue Haïtienne. A product of the Violette AC development system, he had a one-season spell with Real Hope FA in 2024 before returning to Violette AC, where he won both the Série d'Ouverture and Série de Clôture during the 2025–26 season. He was also named Best Player of the Série de Clôture in 2022, 2024, and 2026.
He has five appearances in Concacaf Champions Cup play, including matches against Liga MX sides Cruz Azul and Club Léon and Major League Soccer’s Austin FC.
