The two U SPORTS standouts will remain with the club on professional deals.

Forge FC announced Saturday that Maxime Filion and Maxime Bourgeois will remain with the club past the league’s CPL-U SPORTS deadline, with each player signing his first professional contract with the club.

Forward Maxime Filion, out of the Université de Montréal, has signed a multi-year contract with Forge, effective immediately.

Filion, 23, has appeared in 36 matches, registering five goals, and has become a reliable force on the pitch.

Midfielder Maxime Bourgeois, out of Sherbrooke University, will remain with Forge on a CPL-U SPORTS contract through the end of the 2026 CPL season. Bourgeois’ first professional contract, a multi-year agreement, will begin in 2027.

Bourgeois, 24, has appeared in 17 matches, registering two assists and establishing himself as a consistent, reliable presence on both ends of the pitch.
