Sunday’s final round of matches saw FC Supra du Québec striker Loïc Kwemi officially claim the 2026 CPL Golden Boot award, capping a remarkable individual campaign in the club’s inaugural season.
Kwemi finished the Regular Season with 15 goals, which ranks as the second-highest single-season total in CPL history, behind only former Atlético Ottawa striker Sam Salter’s league-record 19 goals in 2025.
A driving force behind Supra’s attack throughout its debut campaign, Kwemi accounted for 32 per cent of the club’s total goals and led the league in shots (86), dribbles completed (73) and touches in the box (171).
Kwemi’s Golden Boot triumph will be celebrated at the 2026 CPL Awards ceremony on Thursday, Nov. 19, where he will receive the Nikisuittuq statue, a unique piece of Inuit soapstone art conceived by artist Pitseolak Qimirpik and awarded annually to the league’s top scorer.
