Cavalry FC will host the 2026 Canadian Premier League Final on Saturday, Nov. 21, when they'll take on Atlético Ottawa at ATCO Field at Spruce Meadows.
The league’s marquee match will kick off at 3 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. PT and will decide which club will lift the North Star Cup as 2026 CPL champions. Local kickoff is 2 p.m. ABT. The match will be broadcast live on TSN, CBC and OneSoccer. Pre-game coverage begins at 2 p.m. ET / 12 P.M. PT on TSN and OneSoccer.
Cavalry, who last month hoisted the CPL Shield as Regular Season Winners, will host the championship match after securing the top seed in the Regular Season and beating FC Supra du Québec 3-2 on aggregate in the semifinal. This marks the third time Cavalry will play the CPL Final on home soil, having previously hosted in 2019 and 2024.
Atlético Ottawa will look to defend its 2025 CPL championship, this time as the visitors after lifting the North Star Cup in the nation’s capital a year ago. Ottawa enters this year’s Final following a tightly contested 5-4 aggregate semifinal victory over Forge FC, which saw Nicolas Fleuriau Chateau score the first hat trick in CPL Playoffs history on Saturday to secure the club’s second consecutive Final appearance and third in franchise history.
Saturday’s results confirmed that three CPL clubs will compete in the Concacaf Champions Cup, the premier club competition in North America, Central America and the Caribbean, for a second consecutive year.
Atlético Ottawa became the latest CPL club to secure its berth in the 2027 edition following Cavalry FC’s semifinal victory over Supra. Cavalry previously qualified as the 2026 CPL Shield winner, while Forge FC secured its place through its TELUS Canadian Championship victory. With both clubs already qualified, the CPL championship berth remains within the league and is awarded to Atlético Ottawa, which finished third in the 2026 CPL Regular Season standings.
Tickets for the 2026 CPL Final are now on sale for Cavalry season ticket holders. Cavalry FC Insiders can purchase on presale via Ticketmaster starting Monday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m. ABT. Tickets will be available to the general public starting Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. ABT.
