Canada Soccer announced Friday a 24-player men's U-20 squad that will participate next month in the Maurice Revello Tournament in France.
Three Canadian Premier League players will be part of the group: Vancouver FC midfielder Emrick Fotsing, Inter Toronto winger Shola Jimoh and Atlético Ottawa defender Sergei Kozlovskiy.
Canada's U-20s have been drawn into Group B for the invitational competition (previously known as the Toulon Tournament). They will play Venezuela, Japan, Côte d'Ivoire and Portugal, kicking off June 1 and continuing until June 11. Canada will aim to finish first or second in the group and play in either the championship or third-place match on June 13.
This tournament will provide Canada with valuable experience ahead of this summer's Concacaf U-20 Championship (to be played in Mexico from July 24-Aug. 9), which serves as qualifiers for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games.
Fotsing, 18, has played twice for Canada at the U-18 level, and will aim to make his debut with the U-20s in this camp.
Jimoh, 18, has played once for the Canadian senior men's national team, making his debut in January in a B-level friendly against Guatemala.
He has also played a significant role for Canada at various youth levels. He has 14 appearances for the U-17s, and played in every game at the 2025 U-17 World Cup, scoring once.
Kozlovskiy, 17, was also part of Canada's U-17 World Cup group, and has five caps for Canada at the U-20 level. He made two appearances at the U-17 World Cup, scoring in the round of 32 against the Republic of Ireland.
The CPLers are expected to be available for their clubs' matches this weekend before heading to France.
