Ingham shines with first clean sheet of the season away in Hamilton

On Saturday, April 18 Cavalry FC visited Hamilton stadium for the first time since the 2025 semi-final playoff.

Despite a 0-0 scoreline, the Cavs dominated possession with over 63% of the ball.

Cavalry head coach Tommy Wheeldon Jr also named an unchanged eleven as he has done in all three games so far this season. After an uneventful first half, the second half opened up more with Forge defender Rezart Rama receiving a second yellow in the 56th minute after a FVS review.

Not long after Cavalry went up a man, the visitors had their best chance of the match in the 59th minute Amer Didić found himself all alone after a free kick delivery from striker Tobias Warschewski, but the shot was skied over the net.

Nathan Ingham recorded his first clean sheet of the season for his new club, making six saves.

Cavalry received two yellow cards in the match, Didić for a foul in the 15th minute and Eryk Kobza for dissent in added time near the end of the game,

Michael Baldisimo, Canniggia Elva, Jay Herdman and Ali Musse all made appearances off the bench.

Cavs defender Bradley Kamdem led both clubs in touches with 97 while striker Tobias Warschewski continues to be the main man up front with two chances created.

Up next, Cavalry FC returns to ATCO Field at Spruce Meadows for a 3:00 p.m. MT kickoff on Saturday, April 25th against Inter Toronto FC. For information on Tickets, visit cavalryfc.ca/tickets, or contact the ticket office at info@cavalryfc.ca / (403) 974-4567.
