Marco Bustos is the first Trident of the 2026 season to be named to a CPL Gatorade Team of the Week!
The Canadian Midfielder scored his first goal of the 2026 CPL season in the 53rd minute this past weekend against FC Supra. In addition to his goal, he created two chances, made 58 accurate passes, won 8 of 11 duels, and had a 100% success rate on dribbles. He also played the whole 90 minutes in a match that would come down to the very last kick.
Bustos will have the chance to add to his 2026 resumé this Saturday, as the Tridents go on the road to face Halifax Wanderers for the first time this season.
