TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club confirms that Preston Cehajic will join Inter Toronto IV as part of the club’s Pathway for the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.
Born in Orangeville, Ontario, the 17-year-old winger brings a dynamic and athletic profile to the squad. He also holds Bosnian nationality, adding an international dimension to a game built on pace, physicality, and high-level awareness on both sides of the ball.
Capable of impacting matches through direct attacking play, Cehajic stands out for his ability to create separation, beat defenders in 1v1 situations, and turn defensive actions into attacking opportunities. His combination of speed and discipline allows him to contribute consistently in high-intensity environments.
His development includes time with County FC and Juventus Academy Toronto, where he gained experience in structured and competitive settings. More recently, he continued his progression following a return from Belgium, using that experience to pursue opportunities within the Inter Toronto system.
Cehajic earned his place through the club’s 2025 tryouts, where he demonstrated both his physical tools and his ability to adapt within a demanding environment.
“Representing Inter Toronto means playing with pride, discipline, and professionalism. It’s about being part of a competitive environment where I’m constantly pushed to improve and held to a high standard,” said Cehajic.
“I take responsibility for representing Inter Toronto both on and off the field, giving my best in every training session and match. It’s about commitment, hard work, and being part of a team that pushes each other to improve every day. I take pride in wearing the badge and giving everything I have for the team.”
Within the Pathway, he continues to develop through a structured and competitive environment, allowing him to refine his decision-making and consistency while adapting to higher levels of play.
As he joins Inter Toronto IV, Cehajic enters the 2026 season focused on contributing with impact, continuing his progression, and working toward opportunities at the next level within the club.
