TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club announces that Moustapha Sougui has signed with Inter Toronto Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.
Born in N’Djamena, Chad, the 20-year-old winger operates on both flanks, bringing pace, directness, and creativity in attacking areas. A right-footed player who also holds Chadian and Saudi Arabian nationality, Sougui can also play as a striker, adding another dimension to his offensive profile.
A dynamic attacking player, he stands out for his ability to take on defenders in 1v1 situations and create goal-scoring opportunities. His game is built on speed, confidence on the ball, and a willingness to play forward, consistently looking to break lines and impact the final third.
Sougui’s development includes experience across multiple environments, with previous spells at Hamilton United, Al Hilal, Dixie Soccer Club, and Newstars. Those experiences have contributed to his attacking mindset and adaptability in different competitive settings.
His journey to Inter Toronto III reflects a steady progression through the game, shaped by consistent development and a focus on taking on new challenges. He joined the club through the tryout process in October, earning his place through performance, discipline, and a strong work ethic.
“My goal this season is to perform consistently, contribute with goals and assists, and help the team succeed,” said Sougui.
Within the Inter Toronto environment, his development has focused on improving his understanding of the game, discipline, and overall performance level, supported by a competitive training structure.
Looking ahead, Sougui sees the pathway as a clear route to continue progressing, as he works to translate his attacking qualities into consistent impact and earn opportunities at the next level.
