TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club confirms that Marquese Moncrieffe will join Inter Toronto II as part of the club’s Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.
A Toronto-born winger who also holds Jamaican nationality, the 18-year-old brings a direct and explosive attacking profile to the squad. Operating on either flank, Moncrieffe is a player who thrives in 1v1 situations, using his pace, close control, and creativity to break down defenders and generate chances in the final third.
His style of play is built on confidence and attacking intent, with the ability to stretch defences, take risks, and make an impact in high-pressure moments. He combines speed and technical ability with a strong work ethic, allowing him to contribute consistently on both sides of the ball.
Moncrieffe’s development includes experience across multiple competitive environments, including time with Oakville Soccer Club, ProStars FC, Vaughan Soccer Club, and AIFC, where he continued to refine his attacking game and adaptability. His performances across these levels earned him recognition in several tournaments, highlighting both his individual quality and ability to contribute within a team structure.
He joined Inter Toronto II after being identified through the club’s scouting and tryout process, where he demonstrated his ability to translate his attacking qualities into a structured and competitive environment.
“What separates me from others in my position is my creativity and explosiveness. I’m not afraid to take risks in the final third and try to create something out of nothing. I see myself as a game-changer. My journey to the club reflects my desire to develop in a competitive, professional environment,” said Moncrieffe.
Within the Pathway, Moncrieffe will continue his development in a system designed to challenge players consistently, with a clear progression toward higher levels of competition.
As he enters the 2026 season, he does so with the objective of making an immediate impact, building on his attacking strengths, and continuing his progression within the Inter Toronto structure.
