TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club confirms that Teshawn Taylor will return to the club as part of Inter Toronto II ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.
Born in Brampton, Ontario, the 21-year-old full-back, who also holds British and Barbadian nationality, rejoins the Pathway with experience across multiple competitive environments and a strong understanding of the club’s standards and structure.
A quick and aggressive defender, Taylor is comfortable on the ball and effective in both defensive and attacking phases. His game is built on pace, 1v1 defending, and his ability to read situations early, while also contributing going forward with overlapping runs and quality delivery. His physical presence, discipline, and communication allow him to bring consistency and energy across the back line.
Taylor’s development includes time with Milton SC and ProStars FC, before continuing his progression within the Inter Toronto system. During the previous season, his performances earned him a call-up to the First Team environment, where he trained consistently and gained exposure to the demands and standards required at the professional level.
Having already been part of the club, he returns with added maturity and a clearer understanding of what is required to compete within the Pathway and push toward the next level.
“It’s a great pathway because it gives a clear picture of what it takes to reach the first team and the level that’s required. With the goal of becoming a professional, it pushes me even more every day knowing there’s a direct route and standard I have to meet. It keeps me focused, motivated, and always working to improve,” said Taylor.
Within the Inter Toronto environment, his progression has been shaped by consistent exposure to high-level training and a competitive structure that reinforces accountability and performance.
As he enters the 2026 season with Inter Toronto II, Taylor looks to build on that experience, contribute consistently, and continue working toward opportunities at the First Team level.
