TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club confirms that goalkeeper Nikola Neskovic will join Inter Toronto III as part of the club’s Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.
Born in Mississauga, Ontario, he brings a strong combination of size, composure, and technical ability to the squad. Standing at 6’5”, Neskovic, who also holds the Serbian nationality, is recognized for his modern, ball-playing profile and comfort in possession, particularly in build-up situations under pressure.
A product of environments including North Toronto Soccer Club, Oakville Soccer Club, Stella Rossa, Slavia FC, and most recently Brock Men’s Soccer, Neskovic arrives after a standout rookie university season in 2025, where he played every match and helped his team reach the quarter-finals.
Among his achievements are being named Brock Men’s Soccer Rookie of the Year in 2025, leading the OUA West Conference in clean sheets, recording the most rookie minutes in U Sports, and previously finishing as the OPDL clean sheet leader in 2023. He is also a two-time OFSAA champion.
“My goal is to become a professional, and the pathway from OPL to the First Team plays a big role in making that feel achievable. It creates a clear and realistic route where strong performances and consistent work can lead directly to opportunities at the next level,” said Neskovic.
As part of his progression within the club environment, Neskovic has already trained with the Inter Toronto First Team on multiple occasions, gaining exposure to the intensity, standards, and expectations of the professional level.
Within the Pathway structure, he continues developing in a demanding environment focused on accountability, positional detail, and consistency, while working closely with goalkeeping staff to refine different aspects of his game.
Neskovic will continue his development with Inter Toronto III during the 2026 Ontario Premier League season as he works toward earning future opportunities within the club’s professional environment.
