TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club announces that Aiden Callum Herd has signed with Inter Toronto Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.
Born in Toronto, Canada, the 17-year-old midfielder operates centrally as a CM/CDM, bringing composure, creativity, and versatility in possession. A right-footed player who also holds Guyanese and British nationality, Herd can also contribute in wide areas, offering additional flexibility across the pitch.
A technically sound midfielder, he stands out for his ability to keep play simple while recognizing moments to be progressive and creative in the final third. His profile combines passing range, vision, and decision-making, supported by a strong work ethic and the ability to impact the game through both distribution and attacking contribution.
Herd’s development pathway includes experience across multiple environments, with previous spells at Power FC and Dutch Connections, as well as most recently competing with The Borough FC during the 2025 season. That progression has helped shape his adaptability and understanding of different playing styles and competitive demands.
His pathway to Inter Toronto came through the club’s open tryout process, where he progressed through multiple stages before earning his place within the program.
Internationally, Herd has represented Guyana at the U17 level, competing in the 2025 CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers, adding valuable experience on the international stage.
“My goal this season is to have as much impact as I can and continue progressing as a player,” said Herd.
Within the Inter Toronto environment, his development has been supported by consistent exposure to high-level training sessions, helping him refine his game and continue evolving as a midfielder.
Looking ahead, Herd sees the pathway as a performance-based environment that rewards consistency, as he continues working toward increased responsibility and progression within the club.
