TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club announces that Manuel del Ángel has joined the Inter Toronto Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.

Born in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, the 15-year-old central midfielder operates primarily as a CM or CDM, bringing energy, technical ability, and a team-first mentality in midfield. A right-footed player, del Ángel has continued his development with Inter Toronto IV after progressing within the club’s academy environment.

A technically driven and positive player, del Ángel stands out for his attitude on the field and his ability to contribute in multiple phases of play. Comfortable on the ball and willing to support both defensively and in possession, he combines work rate with a growing technical profile, including shooting ability and ball control in tight spaces.

His football journey began in Mexico, where he developed his foundation in the game. His pathway to Inter Toronto came through the club’s tryout process, where his performances earned him the opportunity to continue within the program.

Del Ángel’s development has been shaped by both on-field challenges and personal growth, particularly in building physical strength, an area he continues to work on as part of his progression as a player.

“Since I was a kid, I’ve had the dream of becoming a professional player. Inter Toronto gave me that opportunity, and I’m grateful for everyone at the club who has supported me and helped me improve every day,” said del Ángel.

At Inter Toronto, his growth has been reflected in his continued development both technically and mentally, supported by an environment that encourages learning, accountability, and daily improvement.

Looking ahead, del Ángel remains focused on earning a starting role within his team while continuing to push toward opportunities with older age groups and, ultimately, the First Team.
