TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club announces that Isaiah Philip Dawson Aggrey has joined the Inter Toronto Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.

Born in Edmonton, Canada, the 17-year-old centre-back brings a strong physical profile at 6’1”, combining defensive presence with the ability to play the ball. A left-footed defender who also holds Ghanaian nationality, he can operate in midfield and adds versatility to his profile. Aggrey has developed with Inter Toronto III after previous spells with Scottish United and Next Step Soccer.

A confident and composed player, Aggrey stands out for his physical presence and ability on the ball. He describes himself as “extremely confident, calm on the ball, and a great leader,” attributes that align with the demands of a modern centre-back within the club’s structure.

His pathway to Inter Toronto came through a seven-day trial in March, where he impressed the coaching staff and earned his place within the program. Since joining, he has embraced the standards of the club, describing it as “a very challenging environment, but this is where players thrive the most,” highlighting both the competitiveness and growth required at this level.

Aggrey’s journey has required resilience, particularly in moments where opportunities on the pitch have been limited. He approaches those challenges with a clear mindset, emphasizing that “no one is going to save you and no one owes you anything,  it’s all up to you,” a mentality that reflects accountability and personal responsibility within his development.

Within the Inter Toronto environment, that development has translated into both physical and mental growth, with players pushed to think tactically and make decisions more effectively on the pitch, reinforcing the standards expected across the pathway.

For Aggrey, the pathway represents a direct opportunity to progress, with a clear connection to the First Team and the chance to earn opportunities through performance and consistency.
