TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club confirms that Roman Mamonov will join Inter Toronto III as part of the club’s Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.

Born in Odesa, Ukraine, the 16-year-old winger brings an attacking profile built on technical ability and vision, with the versatility to operate across wide areas and contribute in different phases of play.

A right-footed player who can also adapt into deeper roles when needed, Mamonov’s game is centred on his passing, shooting, and understanding of attacking movements. His approach reflects a balanced combination of creativity and discipline, allowing him to contribute both in build-up play and in the final third.

His development includes experience across multiple environments, including Chernomorets Youth FC, Palmira FC, Chernomorets Academy, Greater Sudbury Soccer Club, and West Ottawa SC. These experiences have shaped his adaptability and helped him adjust to different styles of play, particularly after transitioning to football in Canada.

Mamonov joined Inter Toronto through the club’s tryout process in October 2025, earning his place in a competitive environment through consistency and a strong commitment to development.

“I kept working to improve my skills, decision-making, and understanding of the game while playing at a high level. I always listened to my coaches and tried to get better every day. Joining Inter Toronto was a big step for me because it gave me the chance to challenge myself in a stronger environment and keep developing as a player. It motivates me to keep working hard both on and off the field,” said Mamonov.

Within the Pathway, his progression has been driven by exposure to a higher standard of competition and a structured environment that emphasizes both individual growth and team principles.

As he prepares for the 2026 season with Inter Toronto III, Mamonov will look to continue refining his game, adapt to the demands of the league, and take the next step in his development within the club.
