TORONTO - Inter Toronto Football Club announces that Daniel Sanei has joined the Inter Toronto Pathway ahead of the 2026 Ontario Premier League season.

Born in Tehran, Iran, the 20-year-old goalkeeper brings presence, composure, and experience to the position. Standing at 195 cm, Sanei is a right-footed goalkeeper who has been developing within Inter Toronto II while also gaining exposure in First Team environments.

A composed and confident presence in goal, Sanei stands out for his ability to perform under pressure, along with his distribution, particularly his side volleys, which allow him to initiate play and contribute to build-up phases effectively.

His previous experience includes time with Shahin FC, Rah Ahan FC, and Masters FA, before continuing his development in Canada with Humber College and last year with Inter Toronto Pathway. During that time, he achieved notable success, including being a two-time national champion with Humber College.

Sanei’s pathway to Inter Toronto followed an initial training opportunity with the team, where his performances quickly led to a call from the club to formally join the environment.

“Training daily with both the first and second teams and working with different coaches has helped me improve significantly in all areas of my game,” said Sanei.

Within the Inter Toronto environment, that progression has translated into greater consistency and confidence, supported by exposure to higher-level training standards and competitive demands.

Looking ahead, Sanei remains focused on earning more opportunities, performing consistently, and continuing to push toward securing a place at the professional level.
