HAMILTON, ONT.  – April 2, 2026 –   Forge FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) today announced the signing of Canadian midfielder Aghilas Sadek to an Exceptional Young Talent Standard Player Contract.

Sadek, 17, joins Forge FC from CF Montréal Academy, where he developed after joining the program in 2023 from CS Longueuil in Québec.

A native of Longueuil, Que., Sadek has represented Canada at multiple youth levels, including the U-15 and U-17 national teams. Most recently, he earned his first call-up to the U-20 side for the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Qualifiers in Nicaragua, where he scored and played a key role in Canada finishing atop Group F with three wins from four matches to qualify for the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship.

Forge will open its 2026 season at home on April 4 at 12:00 p.m. at Hamilton Stadium against Atlético Ottawa, kicking off the club’s eighth Canadian Premier League campaign.
