Atlético Ottawa has today confirmed that local forward Ralph Khoury has been called up to the Lebanon National Team for the upcoming FIFA international window.
Khoury, 19, was born in Lebanon before moving to Canada in 2022. He recently became a dual citizen and spent formative years in Ottawa as part of his soccer development, notably with Ottawa South United. He joined Atlético Ottawa on a Development Permit before signing an Exceptional Young Talent deal and made his professional debut with the club in 2025. This is Khoury’s first call-up to the senior Lebanon National Team.
In his second professional season, Khoury was promoted to Atlético’s primary roster and has recorded one goal and one assist in 114 minutes of Canadian Premier League (CPL) play. The forward has previously represented Lebanon at the U-15 level.

This has already been a special year for me, and I thank Atlético for the support and trust I’ve received. Now I’m looking forward to learning from the experience, competing with my countrymates, and hopefully being able to contribute to the team.”
Lebanon will enter this international window coming off a winning record over their previous five fixtures, recording three wins and two losses. The team won consecutive 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifying victories over Bhutan and Brunei. They then went on to a 2-1 defeat to Sudan in the FIFA Arab Cup qualifying, followed by another 2-0 loss to Yemen in June in the Asian Cup qualification 3rd round.
The Lebanon National Team will travel to Kyrgyzstan from September 22 to October 5 and play international friendlies against the Maldives and Kyrgyzstan. Khoury will be unavailable for selection for Atlético Ottawa’s home match against Cavalry FC on September 30th.
